Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy
For the past five years, Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp and Tidewater Soccer Camp have partnered with former Tribe All-American goalkeeper and current professional, Adin Brown, to bring the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy. Due to Adin’s increasingly demanding pro schedule, Colonial Kicks will no longer offer the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy. Instead, we present the Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy. William and Mary’s top assistant and goalkeeper trainer, Chuck Connelly, will direct the program. The new Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy will utilize the same program Coach Connelly and Adin Brown created for the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy. Coach Connelly will be assisted by current ODU goalkeeper coach John Connelly. The program is intense and very focused. Attendees will train three times daily, covering all aspects of goalkeeping. In addition, due to the unique relationship with the Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp, goalkeepers will have the opportunity to take their training into 11-a-side matches and other smaller-sided competitions. All Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy campers will receive a Nike goalkeeper jersey, Nike goalkeeper gloves and a Nike soccer ball, in addition to a Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp Nike t-shirt. Cost for the Academy is $750/Residents and $640/Commuters. For younger or part-time goalkeepers, we will continue to offer goalkeeper training in the morning. Campers may choose to participate in this training on any or all days. Attendees who choose this option, as opposed to the Colonial Kicks Goalkeeping Academy, will not receive goalkeeper training in the afternoons and evenings, but will instead rejoin the field players for league play and other soccer-related games and activities.
