General Information
Age Limits: The camp is for boys ages 10-18. Players will be grouped with others of similar age and/or ability dependent upon enrollment. Exceptions to the age limits are possible, but must be approved by the Camp Director.
*High School Program: Our senior group (high school age players) at camp will operate with the goal of providing campers with feedback regarding opportunities to compete in college soccer. While the on-field program remains similar for all ages, our senior group will be coached by college head or assistant coaches. There will also be a college soccer forum on Wednesday night. In addition, each high school age camper will receive an evaluation providing feedback on where he may fit in the college soccer picture.
Goalkeeper Training: The Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp offers terrific goalkeeper training through the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy. Founded by three-time All-American William and Mary goalkeeper Adin Brown, the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy is one of the premier summer goalkeeping programs in the country. For more information visit our website, http://www.adinbrown.webnode.com/
In addition to the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy, we also offer a less intensive goalkeeping experience. Younger or part-time goalkeepers have the option of partaking in morning goalkeeper training on any or all days of the session. No special signup is required for this program.
Cost: The cost is $525 for residents and $395 for commuters for the Colonial Kicks Soccer Camp. Fees for the Adin Brown Goalkeeping Academy are $750 for residents and $640 for commuters. All campers will receive room, board, and a camp t-shirt. Adin Brown campers will also receive a Nike goalkeeper jersey, a pair of gloves and a soccer ball. Colonial Kicks campers who attended Tidewater Soccer Camp last year will receive a free Nike soccer ball. A discount of $35 per camper will be given to teams of 10 or more. Teams must register together to receive the discount.
Instruction: The philosophy of the Colonial Soccer Kicks Soccer Camp is to create a fun, welcoming soccer environment that focuses on the continuing technical and tactical development of each individual, regardless of where he may be starting. All staff members are experienced and well-qualified to help facilitate a fantastic soccer experience. Each camper will receive a written evaluation at the end of camp.
Special Features: A lighted, full-size, artificial turf field will be used for training, matches, special activities and small-sided games. Awards will be given for various competitions held throughout the week. There will be a trip to Colonial Williamsburg on Wednesday evening for all campers at no extra cost.
Rules and Regulations: All campers will be required to comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Director at the beginning of camp. Violations may result in immediate dismissal from camp without refund.
